Losing my virginity!

Well Im about a week in (although I have already totally lost track of the day/time/month etc...!) and Ive lost alot of viginities!

Met my first he/she!!! Very nice fella called Jessica! Fairly typical start to the story...got chatting in a bar...and we were meeting a few other people so invited him/her to join us.And no, and this point neither Nick nor myself had any idea because Big Jess came from Brazil and I thought it was a Thai thing!!! How very niave for a 29 year old!

Anyway, Long story short, a few deep laughs, drinking beers quicker than me (although this evidence is far from conclusive in itself!) and the way she ate her Thai kebab equivalent was certainly enough to make even Nick decide against going home with her!!!

Dropped my bike! Although my viginity was lost on the first day that Nick and I left BKK, I am slowly but surely racking up a nice little tally on this topic! Nothing high speed yet though so am keeping fingers and toes crossed that I come back with them!!! Anyway, this first drop was onto the bonnet of a parked car so with nobody around as it was 6am and with a little help from Nick to get it back on its wheels, we high tailed it outta there just as quickly as we could!

Anyway, the next one came while being lost at about 9pm (it gets dark about half 6 so we had been breaking the first golden rule of motorbike travelling of not riding in the dark for about 2 and a half hours!). We were trying to find these guys we had been biking with from BKK as they had got us a room at a swanky (4 pounds a night!) floating resort and so far we had come across some floating shanti town which very kindly offered us to stay there (not quite the hilton or Beth at the Croft so decided against it!) then when flagging down passing motorists due to our fuel lights flashing we got offered lots of other laces to stay.Well thats what we think but our Thai isnt exactly up to sratch and they very inconsideratley didnt speak English!

The Last one came when stalling going up some rough-ish terrain! But dont worry, Im sure another one will come along shortly!

Riding in BKK rush hour traffic! Filtering and pavement riding actually ended up as quite a fun ride for about 2 hours when we were trying to find a particular motorcycle shop! Didnt get to the shop in time but did find ourselves in Soi Cowboy - BKK most notorious hooker street! Decided against sampling the local delicacies but found somewhere else for a bit of dinner before taking on the locals again! Im sure the Thailand Highway Code is written as guidelines only! Alot of the time you can see the slightlymore retarded of Thais riding thewrong way down the highway but consideratley using their indicator to tell you which side they are going to pass you on!!!

Getting rained on while riding! The majority of the time this place has been hot yet yesterday we went up some mountain only to get pissed on! It only rained for about 5 minutes but that was enough for it to soak straight through my clothes and actually fill my boots to the point that when I took them off I could actually pour water out from them!

Oh, and lastly, eating something not right that had been fried!!! And Im not talking about spending most of the next day toilet bound, Im talking about for a bit of fun Nick and I ventured to some market in Kampangphet 400Km North of BKK and decided we would try some friend insects. I think we had some sort of worm/maggot and also some sort of cricket thing. Just to let you know, the worst part is the prickly legs!!!

Anyway Obviously there is much more to tell, like the culture and sights but stories like saw a waterfall and looked around a temple dont relay quite as interestingly as spent an evening with a ladyboy and threw my bikeonto a parked car so may be if I get stuck I will tell you all about them!

I will put some pictures up soon too. Just have to work out how and as my computer skills are a rival only to my beer drinking skills, it may take some time!!!

Love to everyone!

Thank you Donal!

This first post really needs to go to Donal as a big thank you for setting this page up! I know how everyone would miss me terribly if they didnt get to check out my blog from time to time!

And just before you think, Im such a nice guy I should probably admit to having alterior motives...Im also doing this to check that I have pressed the right buttons and this will work as on my first attempt everything was written in Thai and although I can say hello, thank you, and order a few bare essentials so we no longer have to eat whatever the locals decide to serve us, it doesnt stretch to finding my way around a web page that I have never seen before!

No. actually, I am a nice guy...thanks Don. I know you were busy and I really appreciate what you've done!
